Newsletter Term 2 Week 9 (24.6.22)
Dear Parents
On Wednesday night our Orators evening was held in the St Anthony’s Hall. First of all thank you to Flying Start who went out of their way to evacuate the hall for us to hold our speech night. It was an excellent night that showcased the talents of 42 of our amazing students from Kindergarten through to Year 6. The judges Mrs Alison Lewis and Mrs Jan Jeske were overwhelmed by the high standard that performed that evening. From Early Stage 1 through to Stage 3 the large crowd was entertained by a variety of speeches that were informative, humorous and amazing.
Those who were nominated proceed to the next level which will be held in Term 3. Congratulations to all those who performed that night. It would have been a nightmare for the judges to select as the performances were so close and the standards so high.
The students to proceed to the next level are:

- Phoebe Hartman-Nudds
STAGE 1
- Bede Gibson
- Elodi-Kate Alcorn

Today we were very fortunate to have Peter Mitchell (Mitch) spend the day at our School.
Mitch is the instigator of the MJR Program that is currently occurring in many Catholic Schools around Australia. Mitch spoke at our School assembly this morning and then worked in classrooms with the students throughout the day.
Thank you Mitch for a wonderful day filled with the Spirit of Jesus.
